Comments:
Disappointing results this time around. Conditions seemed pretty good to the
East Coast an hour before sunset - but seemed to go downhill from there. Went
to bed around 0500Z when East Coast stations kept CQing on my frequency like I
wasn't there. Got up around 0730 and signals were much better - but the QRN had
come way up. Managed another 25 QSOs and then back to bed and slept through EC
sunrise. Surprised to find some pretty decent signals from Japan and put seven
of them in the log in addition to VK6GX. Other DX included AA7JV/MM down near
VR6 somewhere in a water grid, PJ2T and NP2X.
