Comments:
It was a tax-time weekend, but I took some time Saturday to get on. Conditions
weren't good for me. My inverted-L was very noisy, and I couldn't hear as many
stations as in recent years. I worked the loud ones first and then started on
the harder ones. I had to ask for fills more often than the stations I worked.
I tried running and got answers from stations that you could barely detect, let
alone work. Finally, I started using a 10m loop for a receive antenna and put
some of the marginal stations in the log. Time to put up a receive antenna.
