Comments:
My normal Wednesday morning disruptions during the 1300z session; however, with
poor propagation lately, I don't mind getting out of the chair to take care of
things. I usually timed it around when I got pushed off a frequency (btw, that I
have been on for 10 minutes). Do people not use a bandmap? I keep a browser with
rbn.telegraphy.de up (with the only filter being show spotters from NA), so I
can check whether anyone is on a frequency before even sending QRL? and
listening. It seems to work well for me. This takes time and effort to set up
shop on a frequency, but I don't want to be the one pushing another station
off.
40m - many stns weaker than normal and noisy band.
20m - band seemed quieter but weaker and I didn't seem to get out.
15m - I heard stations who couldn't hear me.
Hoping for better conditions at 1900z...CU then! 73 ~ Amanda KY4GS
