Bud N7CW and Jim K6ZH joined forces at Jim's QTH in Goldfield, NV (KG7NV) for
this 7QP as K7N. This station has been used for quite a few years in 7QP from
rare Esmeralda County, and results have varied, depending of course on band
condx.
Band condx this year were, shall we say, challenging - or perhaps
"sucky," especially on 15 and 10. Days before the contest, both bands
had been hot. During the contest? Not so much, in fact zip on 10m, sad to
say.
Equipment: Elecraft K-line, 3-element tri-bander, 40-80 inverted vee, all at 35
feet high.
Had a few good runs, but phone is always a challenge from here.
