Comments:
Wow! What a great contest. I achieved a personal best score for any VHF contest.
All the equipment worked, though there is work to do to make things better. We
had lots of 6+ band microwave capable stations in the area and a couple of new
10 band stations who really helped with my microwave QSO points. With so many
microwave capable stations, I was unable to keep up and had to leave a couple of
sites before getting through all of my intended contacts. Conditions on 6m and
2m were good and I took advantage of a couple of openings to boost the grid
count a little bit. Special thanks to all of the Rochester VHF Group and Ontario
VHF Association members who have put a lot of time and money into upgrading
their stations to make this contest a success in our region.
