Comments:
What a blast. We put up some permanent loop antennas up at N4NMM/N4NTT. It was
a first for us to operate 2D style. The goal for the weekend was to practice
correct operating techniques with newer hams (and introduce to non).
N4NMM/Victoria had just turned 15 on Friday and had invited some friends over to
check out ham radio. The teens took rotations operating SSB & FT8 on
Saturday night. Their preference was to use SSB. One of the teens had so much
fun that they came back over on Sunday and spent the last 3 hours operating SSB
with N4NMM.
Thanks to many many hams who were patient for those contacts as I continually
heard the positive comments.
HOPEFULLY another new ham in the making as they are starting to study for their
license.
