Testing the new short "vanity call" for the upcoming contest season.
QTH: The local club, Casa do Radioamador, PY2ERA.
Rig: Yaesu FT-1000MP + amp 1 kW output.
Ant: Tri-band inverted-V dipole for 10-15-20, apex at 9 meters.
Nothing on 40-80.
The club´s QTH is in an urban area, close to the city center.
The noise level there is moderately elevated.
I could work everyone I could hear.
But, sorry, I didn´t hear everyone who answered my CQ.
I preferred S&P instead of calling CQ.
Because CQing with QRO with a simple antenna in a noisy environment,
you´ll easily get the nickname "Big Mouth No Ears".
My QTC practice: I gave QTC right away to everyone who asked,
even if there was only 1 QTC available.
