Hello from Kawaihae, Big Island!
Finally back on Big Island, no more /W5 for now :)
KX2 and endfed - I still need to re-assemble my wonderful dipole, but figured I
could manage an endfed. Not much luck at 19z, so I bailed early on that one.
Was quite happy to hear lots of loud signals at 3z! Definitely easier than some
of my more questionable attempts in Texas. Quite a lot of overlap with some of
the same stations I could work in Texas. You guys must have big antennas, to
hear tiny 5W me when I'm in Hawaii AND when I'm in Texas!
I may or may not attempt 7z - I'm still kinda jetlagged and chickens like to
wake me up at 15z...
