Comments:

Elecraft KX3, 25 ft horizontal end-fed wire strung over condo balcony.

I didn't have my car to drive to a park, so I experimented with a length of 34
AWG white fabric-insulated magnet wire suspended horizontally from the roof of
my balcony (actually the bottom of the above-neighbor's balcony). In any case,
the Faraday cage effect was evident - all DX signals were weak - much weaker
than with my usual wire arrangement in the park.

Worked my neighbor Heather AH7RF on 3 bands - her signal wasn't strong, and I'm
surprised she heard me. The only really strong signal I heard/worked was Stan
AH6KO - fantastic 40m signal here even on my junk antenna!

This was an experimental session to see if any daylight-stealth antennas might
work for me in my condominium. I give this attempt a D-.

May try a park session ay 07z if I can find a well-lit, mostly-bugless spot.

Thanks, Stan and Heather, for the contacts!

Aloha and 73/72,
Bob in Honolulu
