I owned a Titan from the first production lot (serial fity something) and
it worked fine for the 3 or 4 years I had it. I thought the fan was noisy
and some of the construction looked like it was made in someone's garage
(typical for Ten-Tec). I added some resistance in the filament line (per
factory) to offset my rather high line voltage. I was always impressed with
it's high effciency (70+%) and sizzling output level capability (3.2KW when
new). A friend of mine (KV8H) bought a much later version and ended up
with the amp from hell. Two sets of tubes shorted out and the amp had
inumerable power supply problems. It went back to the factory at least a
half dozen times under warranty. The company finally gave him his money
