I would be very interested to see good ideas as well as sources for amp
parts. I have been collecting parts for a 4-1000 project and have found
it difficult to locate some parts.

Tim & the Group,

There are still some good sources for amp parts such as the Ham Trader
Yellow Sheets, swap meets/nets, and two of my locals who specialize in
amplifier parts. They are Alan, K6GA & Dennis, WA6RTC. Both are OK in
the CB but I don't believe that either has e-mail. Alan's fone number is:
(714) 962-5940 evenings but Dennis is apparently unlisted...sorry.
I'll wager a few bucks that many of us on the reflector have all sorts
of good amp parts squirreled away that we'll never use!

I don't know about the protocol of the reflector with regard for listing
a "want" for some critical part(s) but maybe N4VJ will enlighten us?
Tim, GL on your hunt!

Marv, W6FR
