Absolutely not. You should run QRP. It's a waste of money to use all
that electricity. And RG-8X, or maybe RG-58 is much easier to run. Amps
generate way too much heat.
Besides if you have to ask, the answer is certainly NO.
On the other hand, just because it's neat I run big hardline, with as few
connectors as possible, to the biggest, highest antenna I can put up, and
worry about having the incoming power line solid at 240VAC. A new bigger
pole pot seems to be doing fine. Big low loss hardline on all bands, to
all antennas. If you can't hear the DX and the DX can't hear you, why
bother. If you work everything you can hear.....think of all the ones
you don't hear, just a dB or so quieter.
But I seriously encourage YOU to use QRP.
