The TL922 looks like a good candidate for such, Lou---with 5.5+kV capable
tune C and bandswitch--but with a 3kV anode supply.. Since the HV
transformer is rated at 50Hz, it is possible to put 240v-60Hz on the 220v
tap, or 240v on the 200v tap. I tried 240v on the 220v tap. The high
voltage increased about 9%. The regulation decreased slightly. The RF
output increased slightly. I changed it back to stock. IMO, the
transformer core is pretty much at the limit
