Looking at the 'history' in the books, they seem to have been making
this point about graphite anodes for at least 60 years, so it seems a
bit strange that Amperex are not putting the effort in. But maybe they
want to keep production costs down at the expense of quality.

Has anyone done a 3-500Z with a tantalum anode that absorbs gas as it
gets hotter?
