Just to clarify things a bit from RF Parts' perspective---
Svetlana doesn't seem to be making many of the 3CX800A7 tubes,
or at least not sending them to us. We have had a standing
order for 100 pcs for 18 months. Total deliveries to date:
about 40. Because of slow delivery, we sell a lot more Eimac.
I can't give much input on how well they are working out
in the field. However, of the 40 we have sold, I can' remember
any coming back for any reason.
As far as price, the September 1 Svetlana price sheet shows $335.00.
RF Parts' current price is a bit less. I'm not sure how the $355
number got out. It may have been a misquote at this end. Sorry.
Probably won't see much in the way of discounting for a while
due to the limited supply and Svetlana's distributor cost structure.
