Indeed. In fairness, our 400W limit relates to power at the driven element
of the antenna. So I suppose one could argue that the requirement to take
feedline losses into account and also the requirement to produce the 400W
with a reasonable level of IMD adds up to an argument for owning a
1500W-capability amplifier even with power limits of 400W pep. That's what
I'd say in court anyway <g>.
