Hi Len,
The SB-221 came along after the FCC got their nose out of joint about
CBers.
Except for the missing 10M position on the panel it is identical to the
SB-220 except for a wider spaced Tune cap and I'm not sure if all 221's
had that feature.
There were no other substantial changes and that amp still requires
improved supressors and a glitch resistor plus improvements to the PS.
Properly used it will probably last well into the 21st century.
