To use 4-400As in a SB-220, put a 2 to10 ohm 2w resistor between pin 3 
and pin 4 (grid-screen).  Short the zener bias diode with a jumper.  The 
ZSAC will be a bit low for SSB, but they will work ok.  4-400s like to 
see at least 3500v.
