After looking at the 1980's era QST issue that showed the difference
between their old 141T and the newer ?? model version I was sort of
turned off from purchasing the 141T. Did I make a mistake?
When in the RF lab at Wang I had use of the HP8568B so got somewhat
spoiled. Currently I use a 71209A plus goodies to set up 35GHz SSB
transceivers but cant get it home on loan...yet!
My own ham equipment covers 1.8MHz to 10GHz SSB/CW so I am at a loss
what to throw money at. And it is a pain to bring all the stuff I want to
test/align in to work.
Tnx for any suggestions. Also a bit of a loaded question...BUT are any of
the Brand X,Y, Z any good?
