A Friend let me borrow an AL-800H amp a few weeks ago, and it has worked
flawlessly. Smooth operating, FULL 1500 + watts output, well protected
design.
After only Using homebrew amps before now. I was sort of afraid to push
this nice looking small package of RF. "BUT" the owner insisted .
It has been used by me on all bands and in some large pileups, and gives
full output and runs very cool under pressure. I haven't used it
contesting, but from what I've seen so far it should do the job just fine.
