It would be interesting to know what the intermod performance is like at
that power level. Quoting SSB power output without referencing it to a
given level of IMD isn't meaningful. The 'MP owners might not have any
problems, but their amateur neighbours might have an awful lot. 

It took the hi-fi fraternity years to grasp the fact that quoting the
output of an audio amplifier without referencing it to the THD level at
which the measurement was taken allowed all sorts of crazy figures to be
quoted. Wny don't amateurs expect manufacturers and reviewers of linear
amplifiers to quote output power at a given IMD as a matter of course?
