Well, I'll be jiggered. The one 3-500 that I thought was bad is actually
good. THe only problem is that the solder holding the pin onto the internal
grid lead (pin 2) is bum. I don't know if it got hot enough to recede or
maybe the tube always had this problem.
1) Should I try to run solder down and "remake" the connection.
2) Send it somewhere to have this done?
3) Set it on yonder fence post and get out the 30-06?
What say??
