If I remember right here is the way it goes:
Alpha 77DX, 160-10 meters, 1-8877 tube, 4 KVA xformer
Alpha 77SX, same as above except 2- 8877 tubes
Alpha 76, 160-10 meters, 2-8874 tubes 1.5 KVA xformer
Alpha 76PA, same as above except 3-8874 tubes
Alpha 76CA, same as the 76PA except uses a 2.4 KVA xformer
Alpha 374, 160-10 meters, 2-8874 tubes, 1.5 KVA xformer, no tune
Alpha 78, 160-10 meters, 3-8874 tubes, 2.4 KVA xformer, no tune
The Alpha 77DX was rated for 2KW pep output, the 77SX for 4KW pep
output,
and the others rated for 2.5KW pep input
