.Just in case, the actual time period to look out for begins approximately 
August 1986 (date code roughly 8630?) when Eimac put the ill-fated and 
badly conceived "heat dam" change into production, and probably ends around 
September of 1988 (8834?) when production of corrected tubes finally 
resulted in deliveries to the field.
