My Eimac catalog shows essentially the same tube, the 3CPX800, rated for
3500 volts at 8 amps maximum (short pulse). I don't have the full data
sheet so I can't make any determination of the average current in that
service but if one assumes a 10% duty cycle, it would support maximums
of 3500 volts at 800 ma in linear operation.
