I wouldn't risk it - not even with a teflon one. It's also a bit undesirable
from the point of view that you can have it disconnected and the coupling
ring pulled back so the live conductor is exposed.
Unless you really need a connector, try a terminal, suitable enclosed, and
make a more permanent connection. Or try an HN or one of those type
connectors.
