I have tried that, many times over the years.  As I said earlier it is a
hit and miss approach and repeatable results are not guaranteed.
The problem is when trying to park a series resonance safely away from
17, 15, 12 and 10M and often 1 or 2  turns can make the difference with
the choke installed.
