NO. What happens if you just run idle current for say 10 minutes? Any
change?

That is not the symptom of a tube arc. Does that amp have a HV glitch
resistor?

Sounds like a PS problem, something not exactly unheard of with a Henry
amp.

Any way you can put a DC load on the HV; minus the tube?
