Which Drake solution?
The L4B version is still available. It was simply Johnson sockets and an
abbreviated chimney. You can buy both thru Ameritron for the AL-82. The
AL-80B uses a simple and cheap socket made from thick glass PC board.
Mounts the same as the Johnson.
The L-7 and L-75 used a muffin fan. This has caused some socket heating
problems in the L-7.
