Well, it was 40 years ago now, so the ins and outs and whys and wherefors
have long been forgotten. G6JP is still alive, active on 80 metres, and over
90, but I think everybody else concerned has been dead for a good few years.
In any case, the cynical would say that RSGB lost its credibility with the
1993 President.
