I've heard the story of how the published ratings for this tube were
quickly lowered after it's release to gain acceptance for certain
applications under new FCC regulations. What I want to know is if the
maximum plate voltage rating for use in an AB2 cathode driven amplifier was
lowered. The currently published maximum is 2250 volts.
