Yes, but...
After a little homework on the subject, I've formed the following
opinion. Class C operation of an amplifier is best not applied
toward cw applications. I know it might have been popular
some time ago, but I would assume by what I've read and seen
class c might distort the leading portion of the keyed cw wave form.
The trade off of efficiency for wave form distortion make ABx operation
more attractive. The next question is what happens to that distortion...
