Hello all,
I am in need of a bit more weak signal power for 2 meters, and I am on a
tight budget. (Who isn't?) I'm figuring 300 to 600 watts will do the trick
(obviously the more the merrier). I have noticed that here and there a
"Dentron Clipperton V" will pop up on the swap pages and I think something
of that sort would be a good start.
Does anyone have such a creature for sale?
Also, does anyone have a suggestion as to what other amps might be out there
that would be in a similar class?
I would be interested in used "homebrews" as well.
I know there is the option of building, but scrounging the parts (just the
right heavy iron) and manufacturing the case and cooling is a project in
itself.
