Hi Rich,
When I first bought the amp you were nice enough to send me a schematic for
it and I did check the filament voltage at that time - it was 4.97 volts
with no load on 230VAC. I just checked again and it is still under 5 volts.
My basic question was: Is it normal for the input SWR to increase with a
power decrease when the tube is near the end of its life? Seeing the tube
is 18 years old and who knows where it came from I think it could be dying a
normal death, hi hi.
Thanks again Rich,
Kevin
