Hi Bob, and all others asking about my
YC156 project :-)
(Warning off topic follows :)
This project has been VERY slow going
lately ! The amp is sitting
on the table in my workshop, begging me
to put power on it every
time I pass it. Every time I tell it:
Later ! It's in a state were
the tank, input, filament, chokes,
blower, etc etc is finished and
"cold" tested. Next step is to put some
HV on it. That was the state
late october, and it still is ! The
reason is that I started my own
business (together with two good
colleages), so time is a limited
resource ! Hopefully I'll be able to go
back to the amp during the
springtime (Thats what I keep telling
myself).
(Again, thanks to all the great guys
here on AMPS ! Without you guys,
and your answer to my (stupid)
questions, the amplifier would just
have been a pile of sheet metal and
components in a box)
So, hopefully some good news in a couple
of months...

Hey Carsten forget that receiver stuff
it's off on a tangent and doesn't
belong here. What we want to know is how
the YC-156 project is coming ?
