Wow! perhaps this should be renamed the "Amps-With-Handles"
reflector. All of the Siemens Spark Gaps for the YC-156 are
spoken for.=20

Allied Electronics has plenty...Allied stock # 586-1003.
{Minimum order @ Allied is $50 total per invoice.)

I have chatted with at least a dozen folks who are
constructing or operating amps with this tube, and I have benefited
greatly from their experiences. Many thanks to all for sharing your
data and ideas.

For the unfamiliar, the YC-156 is a 3CX15000B7, with a smaller
anode cooler, that is used in MRI machines. Yes, it has handles,
and requires no socket...bolts right to the chassis. Heater requirement
is only 15 volts @ 15 amps; unlike most big tubes. The grid is very
similar (but larger) than the grid of an 8877. 28 watts max. grid
dissipation, and 100 ma max average grid current allowed. this tube
is equal to 3.3-8877's in parallel, and MRI pulls go for less than 1
8877! Should last a lifetime @ 1500 watts RTTY.
Several YC-156 amps can be seen on W7IUV's page.
