I agree and have worked out some real nice practical chokes
for my new ceramic triode amplifiers, a combination of some original
ohmite values and my hand wound air-core chokes using
a tube form only. If you'd like, I'll be happy to share those values
and/or the circuit. Just let me know if your interested.
This months QST contains a quick blurb on the turns per inch of
the common Amidon toroids. well worth having...
