My apologies to the list on my suggestion
that the windings be put in parallel. I realized a
few hours after sending that response, when I
did that type of thing I was always using SEPARATE
transformers and not windings on a common core.
While I believe my suggestion of using a low voltage
transformer to feed the primaries under test would
prevent any problem, my suggestion was a dangerous
one. I'll think my responses through more thoroughly in
the future.
I could have gotten someone injured and I again
apologize.
