My time delay relay failed, and I turned on my 8877 keyed for
operation,
it idles at about 70 ma, and it came to 70 ma in about 30 secs and
stayed until I figured out what was up and unkeyed it, maybe 2 minutes
total. Did I damage the tube? It seems to be have low gain and be
rather
inefficient now? To get 1500 out, I need 3300 in(3300 VDC at 1 amp)
and
almost no gird current.

Thanks for your ideas Bill
