Amperex was the brand name used by Philips for rf products marketed in the
US. I don't know if they used it for other components as well. In the UK
they used Mullard as a brand. Some years ago, everything got rebranded
Philips but in recent years they have sold off a number of product areas -I
don't know if this includes their tube factories.
