When I did the RF Radiation Hazard course, they said that you didn't need to
worry for plate voltages under 15kV. On the other hand, for klystrons at 180kV,
you did need to worry - big time! They lead to interesting situations, where the
microwave energy from the antenna and 'spill over' is a problem, while the tx
needs lead shielding.
