FAR Circuits is very interested in producing new
circuit boards for the Dentron GLA-1000 series
amplifiers. I ask FAR Circuits about it because in
most of the amps that I have seen have damaged Power
Supply Boards, invariably the power supply board is
overheated and most of the trace comes off when worked
on by idiots. I have also seen severe damage caused
by component failures (diodes, electrolytic caps, etc.
In addition they are interested in producing the Tuned
Input Boards that came out in the GLA-1000B and
GLA-1000C models. These boards could be used to add
Tuned Inputs to the GLA-1000 and GLA-1000A models!!
If anyone out there can supply a xerox copy and/or
some digital pictures of these boards please let me
know. I have some of these amps but don't won't to
have to disassemble them if I don't have to.
