I sent to Alek but thought list might be interested.
According to Panasonic press releases, oven supply is indeed a HV
switching supply good for running magnetron to 1200W input with only 1300W
sucked from the wall hole.

Panasonic sells the inverter, as a repair part, vie their www site for
$127.change.
I suppose a pair of these powering a pair of 400W ext anode tubes would
make
a nice, light weight, 1.5KW out.
