I just submitted a paper in the upcoming 2001 Particle Accelerator
Conf. Proceeding (IEEE/APS) on the development of a 200 MHz 3.6
Megawatt RF amplifier, to operate up to 15% duty factor using the new
TH628 Diacrode (double ended tetrode) from THALES (formerly Thompson
Tubes Electroniques). I have a preprint "approved" for distribution
if anyone wants to see the PDF copy. Let me know. They probably won't
email until next week as I am at the conference right now in Chicago.
At some point I will have them on a website at work with prior papers
including the TH555A 100 Kw amplifier paper.
The new amplifier has been quite challenging, being a large cavity,
with GG tube.
