The aqueous ("salt water") dummy load looks hard to beat for simplicity. A
gallon or so of salt water, some electrodes, and voila - a simple dummy
load.
The references I have seen, such as the post to eham.net by Steve WB2WIK/6
(http://www.eham.net/forums/HomeBrew/162), or the how-to article by Dick
W6BKY (http://www.hamradio-online.com/2000/jun/w6bky-27.html) are
intriguing.
Just wondering if anyone has built a QRO version that would take 1500W
continuous output?
