I have just learned that Al Harbach WA4DRU lost his battle with =
pancreatic cancer either late Monday 13 Aug. or early Tuesday 14 Aug. =
while in Texas seeking alternative medical treatment after conventional =
medicine became ineffective. Al has been cremated and his ashes are =
being returned to Melbourne FL. by his widow Pat Harbach.
Al was a long time DX and contest enthusiast and profesionally had a =
long and succesful career in hightech electronics before retirement. He =
then started Harbach Electronics catering to the needs of amp. and =
antenna builders. He was often mentioned on this reflector.
