In my quest to learn as much as I can about amplifiers
I ran across information on T Pad Attenuators used
instead of Pi Nets for amplifier input impedance
matching. Having just learned how to calcualate Pi
Net component values I jumped right in with T Pads.

I do have a few questions about the data called for in
the software calculators:
1. Is Source Resistance the amp's Plate Load
Resistance?
2. Is Load Resistance the output impedance? (50 ohm
antenna input?)
3. What Attenuation value in decibels is to be used?

Thanks and 73,
Bill Smith KO4NR
