The 802 is physically the same as an 800, just a few more turns. If you don't have a dip meter to find the resonances with the choke mounted in place in the amp, You can make an 800 out of an 802 just by removing turns. (((73))) Phil, K5PC > Anyone have the specs for a B&W 802 plate choke? Anyone know if it can > safely be used as a substitute for a B&W 800 in the Alpha 77Dx? Won't > it lower the resonant frequency?
