It seems to me that 136khz is almost in the realm of the supersonic and
therefore the headaches could have been a matter of hearing , especially at
the power level mr. aspinall was using!! when I was a young man(looong ago)
and television was new, I could not stay in the same room with a tv set..
the horizontal oscillator signal radiated from the early tv sets gave me a
headache you wouldn't believe..
 at 15.750 khz, that is in the hi range of audible signals and getting close
to supersonic. today I don't have that problem mostly because my hearing is
not too good anymore.(could there be a connection here??)
