Has anyone any hard information (as opposed to rumour, surmise, etc) as to whether or not running heaters/ filaments of bigger tubes (60 watts or more of heater/filament power) on DC has a deleterious effect on life? Metal migration is obviously a factor that comes to mind, which of course, doesn't happen with ac. 73 Peter G3RZP |
